Golden 1 Center economic impact report
Golden 1 Center has been a game-changing development for the Greater Sacramento region, generating critical economic activity, elevating the region’s global profile and driving civic pride. 10 years after construction began on the stadium, Greater Sacramento Economic Council (GSEC) worked with Applied Economics to analyze the economic impact of the center.
The report found that in fiscal year 2022-2023 Golden 1 Center contributed to:
- $665 million in economic output
- 2,002 jobs
- $42 million in visitor spending
- $2.6 million in city tax revenue
- $22 million in county, school, local and state taxes
